Music for a mobile game I worked on. The programmer that made is said that the game is sort of continuous, a keep going and passing through each goal until you die thing instead of traditional levels.
As such I wanted to try something a little different for the music, so I created a series of loops that could be triggered at random after each playthrough, with the possibility of all or none of them accompanying the base percussion/bass loop. I've done a quick little example of how it goes together, with each loop on its own then all of them gradually being layered up. It works, and I'm fairly happy with it.
