In February I had the great pleasure of playing for the Opulent Temple crew (http://opulenttemple.org/) at their ‘Deep Underground’ party to help raise funds for their return to Burning Man in 2010. As per usual I showed up with my trusty MicroTrack hoping to capture as many of the DJ sets as I could. My plan was foiled, however, when on more than one occasion the cables were yanked out of the recorder during the seven-hour feeding frenzy that took place around the DJ booth. I did manage to capture a couple sections of my set and decided to patch them together to create this Tech Funk and breakbeat mix which is equal parts live set and studio recording. Enjoy!
