"This is the opening set recorded live in the Funktion 1 room at GhostShip 2011. This was great fun, and a bit of a challenge for me. I was dressed as Gene Simmons from the Band KISS. DJing with a wig and full makeup was challenging, the makeup and super warm costume had me sweating. Rarely do I get to play on such a great sound system, I really spent a long time selecting tracks before the gig. I was aiming for something that was a bit spooky, a bit funky, a lot bouncy, and all in good fun. I wanted to makes sure that there was a good crowd built up and wanting more as there were a gaggle of my favorite DJs playing after me. I'd like to call it a success as the space was filled with smiling dancing freaks for the remainder of the night. Thanks for the support and I hope you all had as much fun as I did!" - Erik_Hz
