Sp_cec_det aka Robert Logan is a native of Sydney Australia. Originally a trumpeter trained in classical and jazz, Robert was awarded a scholarship at The Australian National University School of Music at the age of 16.

Around this time, he was introduced to electronic music via his brother and the Global Underground series, which he immediately fell in love with. This drove him to start mixing using a mixer held together by sticky tape, and belt drive turntables.

His eclectic style and track choices make for a different sort of listen... while his perfectionism (and being his own toughest critic) pushes him further and further to create mixes which are characterised by crisp precise mixing, mixing different styles and genres while maintain coherency through the mix.

Robert has toured Japan, S Korea, New Zealand and the US, so performance is something that runs through his blood, whether it be rocking a trumpet solo or on the decks. Please have a listen and enjoy his brand of sound...
