SOUN Records proudly presents a dutch artist with a new sumptuous album in its pool.
Eigenheimer's "Totem" lures you in with an intro that embodies samples from a dutch show revealing what the word "eigenheimer" means and if you
are willing to commit to the journey the album yields you can perceive meaning even beyond that.
As for an artist who stays true to his very name as he does everything in his own way, it's gratuitous to throw around with strict genres
and artists he might sound like, although on his broad selection of tracks we can hear some elements from IDM
to irrefutable experimental electro-acoustic live recordings. Eigenheimer's mesmeric sound layering creates a particular blend
of organic ambience, yet he shows the true power of distorted particles along with the manipulated sonic vocal parts.
