Growing up in a musically inclined family, Shant was born and raised as a musician. He quickly developed many talents in the venue of music and other arts. Shant started out in a school band experimenting with a variety of instruments as well as participating in choir. He grew up listening to rock and Armenian music. When Shant was about 10 years old, 90's electronic music was at its peak and it caught his ear. Since then, he has been a fanatic of electronic music. With a variety of musical influences, Shant has developed a special sound with the fusion of his ethnic Armenian music and electronic music of all sorts.
