Soul Conspiracy is producer, engineer and label manager Simon van Kesteren. Born in 1986 in The Netherlands, he was raised with various electronic music styles and developed a strong interest in music and sound. When he discovered more professional software at the age of fifteen, his music and production skills started to shape up in a rapid pace. Two years later, German DJ and producer Sharam Jey signed his debut release on his infamous King Kong Records label.

Around 2005, Simon was introduced to Dutch DJ Baggi Begovic, with whom he still works today. Together they have been responsible for remixes for Christina Aguilera, Donna Summer, Erick Morillo, Josie Cotton, Ron Carroll, Shawn Christopher and Copyright.

Simon's release and remix history bulges with prestigious label names such as Defected, Burgundy Records (Sony), Nervous, Stealth Records, NEWS Records, Work and Fresh Fruit (Rhythm Import), Flamingo Recordings, Soulfuric, Chega and Rootz Records. Solo wise, under his Soul Conspiracy alias, he's remixed names such as Bob Sinclar, Mori Kante, Hardsoul and jazz-singer Natalie Williams.

The year 2011 introduces a new challenge for Simon. Dutch and Belgian record company and all-rounder in today's electronic music industry NEWS Records asked him to start a new label. And so, Sonic Circus Records was born. The label focuses on deep and tech house with a twist of techno. The first release is planned for October 2011 and features a new single by Soul Conspiracy himself. Be sure to check out its website and social media pages below. Simon tries to put down his own specific mark on every production made. He is not a DJ, nor a performer, but rather remaining behind the scenes producing, remixing and engineering. He'd never want to end up into one specific style and therefore produces more than house music alone. Whether it's pop, game music or a film score, all options remains open.

This year, 2012, Simon is starting off with a new alias: Traffic Lights. A mixture of indie dance music, with a strong emphasis on nu-disco and electro.
