Since his inception to the house fraternity in the golden days of Wellington venues such as Vurtigo, Velvet and the Nine complex, SOULADELIC has kept his feet firmly grounded and his finger on the trigger of the local dance scene. Souladelics firm belief that “its all about keeping the sound underground” and not pandering to the fickleness of today’s commercial releases has seen him rise to the forefront of tech and progressive in the capitals top house bars, and after founding the Audio Cortex brand in 2009 we can only expect bigger things from him. After becoming the resident Dj at Terrace Bar at the start of 2010 Souladelic has worked tirelessly to cultivate an underground scene away from the commercial drivel of Wellington night life, and with huge success. Highlights include the Back on Track series which showcases guests from the underground dance circut to the hugely popular High Calibre parties that celebrate the Audio Cortex brand itself. From hedonistic nights at Paradiso and whiskey fueled sets at Mercury Lounge to the decadence of Oxford st Sydney comes a beat merchant with a passion for storming the dancefloor with dark vocal prog and lush servings of deep tribal tech. With stormtroopers for tunes and silkyness in the mix this is certainly one Dj not to be missed!!
