FOR FANS OF: Win Win Winter, Portugal the Man, My Morning Jacket, The Dear Hunter, Wilco, Band of Horses, Crosby Stills Nash & Young.

With influences ranging from classic southern rock to more experimental yet accessible musical stylings, Savannah, Georgia's Tommy Simms is carving a place in music history for himself. Based on southern touched riffs & sweeping lyrics, Simms builds and combines indie melodies with that ever present raw twang. Throughout Tommy Simms' career, his music has been called "Timeless", "Powerful" and "Passionate". With influences spanning the catalogs of The Beatles, Pink Floyd & Wilco, Simms also takes cues from Beck, My Morning Jacket & DC post punk. Flying off the ropes of niche boundaries, from the harmonious minimalism of "Give the Lights to Everyone' to his intoxicating and inspirational composition "Tin Lizzie's Herd", one cannot help but be drawn in to his opus of concise & intelligent displays of musicianship.

"Simms' has a knack for interweaving the tried-and-true elements of pop with the less predictable chord progressions of jazz and progressive rock. He also writes evocative, empathic lyrics, sings them succinctly & snaggs a hook just right." - Julie Garisto / Tampa Tribune
