After having been an electronic music producer for seven years, and a DJ for three years, Somnic_Productions was created in 2009 by Lance Danielsen. Since then, there have been two additions to the somnic realm.

[dreamcatcher] focuses on more of the trance-inducing elements of music production. As a DJ, [dreamcatcher] has preformed at events around the bay area including locations such as San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Hollister, and Monterey. With bumping, rolling bass lines and awing melodies, [dreamcatcher] is not to be missed on the decks. As a music producer, [dreamcatcher] often sticks with hard pounding kicks and inspirational melodies, and is occasionally accompanied by Somnic_Production's other artist, s0mnia.

s0mnia is a side-project of [dreamcatcher]. Isolating the more ambient aspects, s0mnia focuses on keeping the vibrations at a calming pace. As a new addition in 2012, s0mnia will continue to release new material both as a seperate, solo project, and in collaborations with [dreamcatcher] as well.
