Born in the same year but in different continents the founding members of Somebody n Someone grew up loving music.
Somebody was born in West Berlin. He grew up with the Berlin Wall, spraying graffiti, skateboarding and listening to hardcore, punk and 70's psychedelic music. In his late teens he became a regular in East Berlin’s underground clubs E-Werk, The Bunker and Tresor. Whether it was acid, electro or hard-core techno Somebody knew he had found his calling. By the end of the 20th century Somebody was DJing and promoting parties throughout Berlin’s Friedrichshain and participating in the Afterhours parties of Berlin’s underground location Nontox. He was also a member from the Loveparade collective Inspirational Love.
Someone was born in Caracas, Venezuela and grew up between California and New York. Her DNA flows with Latin rhythms. The tropical sounds surrounding her childhood were replaced when her ears heard the post-punk sounds coming out of the UK and the USA. Someone moved to NYC to study Film at the School of Visual Arts meanwhile playing in a band and working at a record store. This led to NYC’s club scene. The Sound Factory, The Tunnel and The Limelight became staples in Someone’s weekend tour de force! Influenced by the sounds coming from Chicago, Detroit, New York, the UK and Germany, Someone began producing her own tracks.
Somebody n Someone strives to make music that reaches your soul touches your brain and makes your body dance.
