You cannot deny how big this tune was, and still is. Simple and effective, it sample the voice of one of the most notorious samplers in history, and caused a big controversy, and tons of haters. After being # 1 on Beatport forever, it was kinda hard to play this without sounding "dated" or "obvious". But when I got the idea to add the famous scene from Beat Street on the break down, I just had to do it. I feel like it joins 3 decades of rocking house parties all into one. The early 80s in the Bronx, The 90s with Moodyman from Detroit, and now today with Moombahton Massive being consistently the craziest party I have Dj'ed in so many years. I debuted this edit at a Massive, and it continues to murder every time. I hope other Dj's out there can use this tool, and get the same reaction as I have been getting.
