S O L I D L I G H T
The Melbourne based song-writer and producer SOLID LIGHT (aka Dan Steele) has been wrangling audio in the field of music since 2004.
Hell-bent on achieving an original sound, SOLID LIGHT's musical direction is openly guided by the sounds of authentic house music, disco rarities and experimental indie pop.
After playing live shows surrounding the release of the first two E.P's, disc-jockeying at label parties and spending most of 2011 recording, sample-editing and collaborating with others, SOLID LIGHT is now putting the finishing touches on his debut album titled 'Passwords' - set for release in March 2012 through Bad Party Records.
The first single from the album, 'Make It Home' will be out in January 2012.
