First things first, we are not the real “MAFIA”, that’s just silly – no, here we have a parody, a play on words. Scratch our back, we shall scratch yours, and the logo? Well the pistol merely indicates the potency of social media!
In 2006 our Godfather founded the ACHUB with a mission of conducting academic research, events and facilitation concerning all things social media related, both offline and online.
The ACHUB was the incubator for a whole variety of educational and arts related events which successfully linked-up on-line and off-line activities. In 2008 the ACHUB was successfully re-branded to Social Media Mafia and has continued with its mission and conducted multiple new and social media related publishing, events, consultancy, networking and commercial activity in the UK and Internationally.
The Social Media Mafia has thousands of members in its LinkedIn Group, many more in various other social media platforms, as well as having considerable leverage in relationships with influential media practitioners globally.
