Sure there's rapping, but it ain't hip hop. It sounds more like a unicorn being fingered by Hitler (Electronic-Analogue/ rap/ indie).
After meeting through mutual friends, the dynamic duo began working together in April 2011. They forged an intoxicated path from their common street address to an unparalleled musical paradigm. Betwixt full-time uni and work, ideas have been executed in a home studio; resulting in a handful of unmastered songs that are yet to be released. SmithStreet breaks the monotony of rap music by creating a unique sound that is even 'hipster-friendly,' drawing upon an eclectic mix of influences. From here, SmithStreet will continue to progress and end up in your living room, on the dance floor or in your bed.
