Essef has been into the whole scene since the beginning, It all started off with him attending raves back in the day when the whole scene was one, he found his real love when things started branching off and when he heard a certain LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad for the first time and from that moment he was hooked, he still liked the other styles of D&B but that turned into his number 1 love musically.
The DJ'ing started when a friend off his who used to DJ at Gold Diggers bought his decks round to a mates house and after a little dabble on them he never turned back. That was 18 years ago.......He started off with playing tunes on Dread, Ram, Back 2 Basics etc and was always a sucker for a hard amen tune ( and Still is! ) but as he matured and grew with the music his tastes changed and he started playing more mellow, deep tunes. Creative Source, Moving Shadow, Legend Records, Basement and of course the mighty Good Looking were among a few of the labels that drove him on to develop his sound
Having never really pushing it as a DJ, playing for a few local nights and parties over the years but he never any progressed it any further, he lost his passion for the DJ'ing a few years ago but never lost the passion for the music... and recently that passion for the DJ'ing has been stoked again with the rise of the digital age coming about, but still spinning on the very thing that got him hooked all those years ago...Technics.
This led to him starting off his now successful “Deep DnB Sessions” series, this is now into the 16th release and is growing ever stronger every time a new mix is added to the series, his supreme track selection and seamless mixing skills have pushed the series up there with the best of them and have earned him a hoard of regular followers, he hopes to continue with the series and this year will be venturing out onto the DJ Circuit to push his sound even further to the listener....
