Power and Glory

Power and Glory was somewhat influenced by Angelo Badalamenti's compositions that he wrote for the TV series, Twin Peaks. In his music for Twin Peaks, he takes such things as what I tend to think of as fairly bland 50's bar room jazz combo music, and turns it into deep, subtle, and mysteriously beautiful mood pieces filled with many ominous moments. My piece turned out to be a bit less subtle, and with the "Big Band" era sound instead, but it certainly is not at all your normal jazz composition, when compared to typical "Big Band" arrangements
