I'm influenced by literally everything, not just music. I could look at cat and think "damn, that cat's face reminds me of a gnarly squeeling sidechained supersaw with a triplet lfo notch filter running through a chain of vocoder formants". Or I could see another cat and think "damn, that cat's face reminds me of a chord shift from C# major 7th to C minor 7th. Or I could simply think "awww".
