*Wish I had a pic to show of this old mountain 'telegraph' device.... Worth seeing if it's still there... Located on Mrs. Royalty's family home place on Fiddler Creek Road... From Bedford take Rt. 122 south, turn right at Sign Rock onto Dickerson Mill Rd....in just a few miles turn right onto Fiddler Creek Rd....the Royalty home place is /was uphill on the left.
:) Forgot to mention in this track....the outhouse was when we lived in the little white house with the big tree at the driveway ( near Happy Drive)... one day.... after leaving the back porch running flat out in a hurry,.... my bro tripped on the cement porch steps while en route to empty the porcelain pot... yeah, his worst nightmare... he got soaked...very funny to me, NOT funny at all to him ....shhh, don't tell him you heard it from me :)

@Steve Ferguson: I try :). ....actually phrasing sometimes comes out of nowhere, probably imprinted from mu father's extensive use of country/ home spun terms... Some he invented I think cause I've never heard them elsewhere.... My fave was his "You play the wild!!!!!"response to our request for something like say, a ride into town for example...LOL ...he was busy, we were kids so , we often "played the wild!". :))))

@Steve Ferguson: Ha..I write down a bullets...start, middle 3, close... Then I make 1-2 word sub bullets...lol...then decorate it with doodles to stall for time , most sub bullets or sub sub bullets then become illegible ....so I talk spontaneously by the initial bullets...used mainly as start, cruise, stop buttons. 1st take was lost...I swear I saw a wave form, but as wiggle worm the touch screen is not always my friend...so, this track is 2nd take, no edits... Lol ..still cannot get the editor to work 100% of the time.
