Epically iconic music, that still sounds so fresh! Can you please make this downloadable again for those of us who missed it? Thanks in advance!
I really like this, kudos on a great remix! Is there any chance of a download or is it on sale somewhere?
@Damien Schneider: It's called Takks by Neil Landstrumm on the Index Man EP on Peacefrog - PF034!
@molly_thecandygirl: not bad? talk about the understatement of the decade girl! This is straight-up 'happy'magic at its finest, bringing the emotional pull of the eighties sound-palette right up to the present day in a magnificently warm, celebratory fashion. every time i hear that opening riff my mind's ear begins to smile - oh yeah!
Tasty acid bizness, anyone got a track id?
@Antony Dupont: Yes indeed, a great track & a great mix!
@Ian O'Donovan: Cheers Dony, appreciate it!
Anyone got an id for this? Class!
Anyone got a track id for this? Another killer!
@Jeroen van Deursen: Is that the name of this track? Or does anyone else have an id for this? It's immense!
@MarinLuksic what's the name of the track itself? Does anyone have any more information about this?
@Chymera: marvellous, love this track duder!
What is this monster called?? Unfortunately, I never did manage to track it down back in the day!
There's no track between Techno Trance & Dangerous Drive, it goes from one to the other.
And there's actually three tracks between Dangerous Drive & DJ Bold, the middle one of which is Chris McCormack - The Maximalist.
Can't think of what the other two are right now but it'll come to me. And also, there's a track between Bold & Silvery Sounds too.
Was there myself, an amazing day - Orbital the absolute highlight for me - & a fantastic set from Garnier, amongst others - especially Mr.C & Billy Nasty!
By the way if anyone has Mr.C's set from there could they please upload it as it was absolutely fantastic?
I had it on tape back in the day but it's gone by the wayside over the years so would greatly appreciate it.
I had occasion to hear Digweed's set from there recently - he clashed with Garnier at the event - and still can't believe that anyone chose to hear him over LG - twas as weak, forgettable and boring as I knew it would be, while this still sounds class!
C'mon C - fill us in!
@Romi G.: Yes indeed, I second this! A fantastic mix of lyrics & track - what is this?
@user1610597: Indeed, twas one of the few from back in the day that I could never get the name of. Long time anyway dude, what's up with you these days?
Very nice indeed Dan, good on you! Did you know that Coleridge wrote this after smoking opium & falling into a trance whereupon he had a vision of what he describes in the poem, as he was reading about Kubla Khan at the time. The reason it's so short is that someone came to his door on some supposedly urgent business & by the time he returned to the writing he could no longer remember the details of the vision, funnily enough! A great poem though & one of my favourites - good to hear it through another medium, well done!
Very nice indeed, deep n groovin but also with that pulsing techno-throb type energy that so often absent these days. Muchas gracias!
Meant to say this ages ago but forgot. Thanks a lot mate, very much appreciated!
Boring and obvious. Once again Joris - you can do a LOT better!
Obvious, derivative and boring. Heard it all before. You can do so much better Joris!
