We have reached release number 5 here at Untz Untz Records!
    Midlife crisis a'hoi!
Thanks for buying all our records, well well at least some of them. Anyhow, now you should buy this one. On the outside we have a beast with a beard. On the inside there are techno & house music, some bird noises, reindeer bells and general awesomeness. What is it not to love here?

    A Skatebård - Confirmation Bias (13:41)
B Skatebård - Reindeer Salsa (The Knights Of Jumungus Extended 12" Jingle Jungle Morning mix) (11:34)

Big techno track from Skatebård just in time for summer + a exclusive 12" mix by The Knights Of Jumungus (Mungolian Jet Set)

This time Untz Untz have got the closely associated Skatebård to deliver nothing less than a catchy techno track. Although the track consists only of a bassline, some percussion and some 909, it still works like a charm on the dance floor and you will even find yourself humming along to it. And how many techno tracks can you say that about? 'Confirmation Bias' is a marathon clocking in at almost 14 minutes. Not a minute too long.

On the B side we have a extensive rework of 'Reindeer Salsa' from The Knights Of Jumungus. You might know them better as Mungolian Jet Set, but here they are operating in their capacity as Knights from planet Mung. They are taking us deep into the jungle and doesn't let us out again until the early morning with their mix. Jungle as in the forest kind, not the genre. This is seriously experimental stuff and a truly unique rework.

Tim Sweeney (Beats In Space/NYC) - "I really like both of these. Really nice work! I'm a big fan of Skatebård and Mungolian Jet Set, so it's great to see this release!"

    Rune Lindbæk (Noid/Full Pupp/Smalltown Supersound) - "Koool!"

Terje Bakke (Strictly Chosen) - "Reindeer Salsa for me, i love you forever Skatebård"

Jonny Rock (London) - "wicked and baad"

Kalifornia Keke/Jesse (GAEA/Finland) - "Great stuff! I'll play it tonight right away!"

Testpressing (.org) - “Confirmation Bias” surfs with Detroit`s first wave. James Pennington. Digs Tim Harper`s Chicago groove. The Mungolian Jet Set turn “Reindeer Salsa” into tribal trance from a Nepalese monkey temple. Bells sound the start of a 5 AM trek to view a sunrise over the Himalayas. To the top of the world, where all is below and you let out your great yawp and leap off. On the way back down they stop for a game of beach volley ball, a four note samba, and I`m transported to the terrace at Space, 9 AM, sleepless, shirtless and eye-linered. From Sagarmatha to the White Isle. Around the world in 694 seconds."
