De man met de hamer (The man with the hammer) and Avex Lemarto are the DJ-aliases of Utrecht based techno-DJ Sieuwe Kooistra. His up-to-eleven style is best described a fresh blend of old and new merciless grooving techno. Sieuwe is part of the recently founded Utrecht based 'Default' collective. Under the creed "Gewoon Techno" (Just Techno) Default is hosting parties and radio shows in an ongoing attempt to provide new talent as well as proven veterans with the platform they deserve. Past and present guests of Default include: Jeroen Search, Dave Miller, Raphael Acohen, Invite, Dystortion, Paul Boex, Delta Funktionen, Joton, Forward Strategy Group, Jonas Kopp, Rolando, Stacey Pullen, Bas Mooy and many more great names to come in the near future.
