Jake Hardin, known as Six-Six, grew up with humble music beginnings in Houston, Texas. His love of music started early but the passion for creating and performing came much later. Jake’s love of electronic music started slow with interest in trance and indie dance in the late 90’s/early 2000’s. Then around 2008, the expansion of dance music in the United States brought genres like electro and progressive house to his attention and the energy of these genres inspired Jake to start experimenting with music production. Starting with Ableton Live, he began to make his first mashups and bootlegs, which led to Jake distributing his work to local DJ’s to test on crowds. The energy that his work created led Jake to take up DJing, which he found he had a natural talent for. From there he became involved in an internet radio company, Fit Radio, which allowed him to bring his music to hundreds of thousands of listeners. Building from this exposure, he started booking DJ performances in large venues such as Opera Nightclub in Atlanta. Jake continues his passion for dance music in Miami, Florida now, where he continues to bring original and interesting yet, familiar sounds to.
