Simon Gag was born in the 70's, grew up in the electro era of the 80's and 90´s. He started making music in the late 80´s and released his first record in 1989. From then he´s released about 30 records on different labels and under different names.He´s also been remixing alot of other artists by others Sofia Talvik, Basswood Dollies and Babalou Smith.

His first love when it comes to electronic music was the forefront figures of the 80´s with band like Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Front 242, Fad Gadget and the early works of Human League on one side and the emergence of the original techno overlords like Juan Atkins and Derrick May on the other.

In the early 90´s he and his childhood friend Toby started a label called "Candy Cane Exploitations", working with Prime distribution in London as distributor, some really great sounds came out from that label. The label was put on hold in the year 2000 only to be revived seven years later with a fantastic release by Electrotom (one of SImons many aliases, this act is together with Toby).

During 2006/2007 Simon founded a new label called "Revival records of Sweden", a label totally dedicated to acid,acid house and old school sounds. The labal has released track by Simon Gag, Ziaskell, Computer Controlled, Toby and the space girls and Electrotom.

Simon Gag has also been DJ:ing since the early 90´s,playing gigs in Sweden, Denmark, The United States and Italy. As a DJ he plays everything from mellow house to hard techno.

As a producer Simon is a multitalent and produce everything from house to techno to acid and dub. Simon is also the muscial engine in a couple of other bands producing electronic pop music and guitarbased pop/rock.

Simon is due with his first ever studio album this autumn it will be called "It´s in my nature"...
