On their debut six-track EP, the promising London trio Silver Shields take the gorgeous, atmospheric guitars of prime Creation shoegaze/dreampop bands, and transform them into something altogether more substantial and dynamic. Lead track Voodoo Summer has a satisfying groove and radio-friendly melodies, while the histrionic, proggy Where is the Love recalls early-90s prog-rock mentalists Levitation.
