I really like the drop here, really nice melody. Lovely down tempo synths here

@Gyre: I think it's a little abrupt; It feels like a track change almost. I think the shift might work better if you had a filter feedback delay sort of falling off from the last section, like a lasting reminder..

Nice drop here. Nothing too fancy, but smooth and satisfying

Overall great sounding. I would love to hear an even more glitched out, may be even chiptuned remix.

Trying something different this time. I usually don't produce downtempo music, but I felt like getting a little experimental (which is usually a good thing). Notable production elements are the pitched kick drum (which also doubles as a bass), the extensive use of LFOs (only one automation clip -...Silver Lining - Theme From Silver Lining Uploaded by silverlining Start following Send a message on March 27, 2009 22:23

I agree with Stargazer, I think you need to drive that kick just a bit more.

I seem to be getting some clipping or slight distortion on your 2 & 4 beats. It is hard to tell if it is the clap or kick but there is something going on there. Could it be some compression artifacts or the uploading ?

Nice as well. I think that main melody needs something additional at this point. it has been going for a good 40 secs or so now and you need to mix it up by doubling the speed or something.

Be careful with panning as an enhancer (speaking particularly about the hats here but it goes for everything) if you end up working on something for the club, many systems are in mono. It works nicely here though.

This is the third (and hopefully final!) version of this track. I finally thought of a decent name, too. I changed the issue regarding the mix being overcompressed (I think). Any and all feedback is welcomed. Screw the labels. Downloads for everyone!- Silver Lining - Falling In Love On Accident Artwork

In December of 2008, I wrote this song in around eight hours, at one sitting (from like 8 PM to 4 AM). I wrote it specifically for my girlfriend, with whom I fell in love on accident. (It's a really cute story, I'd say.) Even though I've been beating my brains out and trying to learn how to mak...
If there is any one thing you have nailed in your production it is your pads. Every track I listen to with your pads sounds spot on for those.
