Silver Sea is the collaborative brainchild started by musicians Jim Smith and David Payne. Formed in 2009 as a project to create expressive and beautiful music. Mostly electronic music, they focus on using acoustic guitars, vintage synthesizers, unique instruments, among other things to create a unique and ownable sound. Dave plays guitar, live instruments and Jim plays synths and writes the beats and composition. Together they form a genre that could be called acoustic-electronica.
