Irish born Kim Carroll is a 2009
Sundance Composer fellow and was awarded 'Gold medal of excellence' for the music he wrote for the thriller 'The Colony' at the 2008 Park City Film Music festival in Utah. He co-wrote the music for the film 'The Uninvited' with Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, Man on Fire, Narnia), has written music for RTE's 'PrimeTime', HBO's Addiction, NBC's Crossing Jordan, CBS ColdCase, VH1's Celebrity Fit Club, and Fox Sports. In addition, Carroll wrote the music for the feature-length documentary films "Survival of the Wildebeest" and the Sundance feature "The Horse Boy" w/ Lili Haydn.


Carroll also wrote the music for a four-part dark comedy internet series called 'HellHoles.' With over 2.5 million downloads, this project has become one of the most downloaded series on the internet. It stars Ray Wise (Good Night and Good Luck, Twin Peaks) and was directed by Project Greenlight's Kyle Rankin and Efram Potelle.


Carroll's recent music credits include Sinead O' Connor, Train, Paul Buchanan/Blue Nile, and Gary Jules (#1 UK hit with the song 'Mad World' from the film Donnie Darko). He can also be heard on the soundtracks for Gone,Baby,Gone, The Chronicles of Narnia(Prince Caspian), Veronica Guerin, Domino, and The Rundown. He is currently co-writing an album of original music with Lisbeth Scott (vocalist on Munich, Narnia, Passion of the Christ) to be released early next year.
