”Between Here And There” was composed in 2009 for Finnish radio-program Sound-Universe (http://www.yleradio1.fi/musiikki/aaniversumi/). It is a nine part composition about movement and transitions between soundscapes. It could be a soundtrack for an imaginary film. It has a lot of foley effects. Effects are used as a glue between parts but they are also sampled, looped and processed to form rhythmic layers for compositions. SCI Prophet VS synthesizer and it’s digital soundscapes are used extensively in nearly all parts. VS has been a great source of inspiration in all of these parts:

hello! i'm having the time of my life! this composition is absolutely stupendous and rich. i'm having flashbacks from my youth and artists i always admired... impressive and ethereal. harmonia, rodhelius, eno, telectu, how is this possible? kandinsky and mondrian in sound? never happened before... enthralled... ben p.
