Maybe start some percussion from the middle here building up until it kicks back in again would make things work a little better.

You could also take some of those bit crushed sounds make them a bit longer for the mid section add some echo to them or something just ideas.
- Siesta Submarina on November 13, 2009 22:19
@crabnebula: thank you for the reply! you are absolutely right, I need to work on the transitions more, and expanding on the bit cruched sounds should be a nice way to prolong the tension and diversity. i'll take this into consideration when I re-record this :D

NOT THE FINISHED VERSION, just a raw jam of a new track I recorded to get some feedback. I get kinda stuck in the creative outlet when working too long on tracks, I am hoping for some honest feedback on where to improve this track. what works, what doesn't work etc. Machinedrum UW & Monomachine m... - Green Ghost Red Ghost (Ambient Techno Experiment 003) Artwork

the main percussive synth almost reminds me of jarre's industrial revolution, or some of the percussive grooves on depeche's construction time again. nice work!

I really dig it. Typically I dont enjoy the 4/4 beat, It tends to aggravate me, however, I think this is perfect positioned in the mix to a point were it just becomes part of the ambience. Good Mix.
