Very seldom do you experience a DJ who so easily moves through different sounds and moods. Owen Renn, Atlanta native and music aficionado, has been part of several music collectives dedicated to that very progressiveness. Having held a firm seat in the now defunct rightClique, event planning and promotion were some of the first practices that catapulted Owen into a life completed engulfed in alternative music.

Heavily influenced by rich, jazzy textures laden with broken drum beats, he finds comfort in much of the dubby, techier side of electronic music. Through his patient, tension-building sets, Owen has developed a unique mixing style of his own that has energized dance floors in all types of rooms. Having opened for well-known performers such as Skream, Bruno Pronsato, or Simon Posford, he has no problem living up to the expectations of a calm and collect opening DJ. When necessary, Owen is fulfills the role of headliner, able to effortlessly continue the vibe set by others. Through his gained knowledge of venues and artists alike, Renn is currently lending a hand with Atlanta Dubstep and Heat promotional companies, furthering the underground dance scene in Atlanta and other southeast venues.

Having performed live as one half of Crookhaven throughout 2009, he is now focusing more attention to solo ventures, honing a definitive sound that complements his style.
