Exploited label founder, internationally renowed DJ, remixer, promoter, radiohost, world-trave-
ller and new talent spotter, Berlin resident Shir Khan is truly a jack-of-all-trades and might be
one of the city’s hottest names. Having grown the label since 2007, Exploited has played host
to some of the most innovative, cutting-edge electronic talent and has been on a quest for high
quality, diverse and forward-thinking releases. In 2012 Shir Khan pushed the career of
newcomers like Adana Twins, Doctor Dru, Claptone, Homework, Claptone, Urulu or Joyce Muniz
and managed to establish 5 Beatport Top 10 Scores.

With the launch of BLACK JUKEBOX, SHIR KHAN dipped his toes into the world of disco edits:
Slo-mo housed up boogie-soul, presented in a nicely recut fashion re-
miniscent of the great Tiger & Woods. ‘Juicy Fruit’ (out on Black Jukebox 01) has become a
secret weapon for many big DJs such as Soul Clap, Solomun, Axel Boman and even A-Trak.
Until now, Shir Khan has released 5 chapters of Black Jukebox. The first 2 Vinyl editions
already became heavy collector items with prices going up to 99€ at Discogs and No.3 and No.5
both scored a Top 10 at Beatport.
Shir Khan also launched SECRET GOLD which features extended family members such as
Huxley, Bubba, Daniel Solar, Jack Fell Down, Jesse Perez and more.
Furthermore, SHIR KHAN will be also presenting DANCING&ROMANCING, a Double-Mix-CD that features music for home
listening and clubbing.
Both of Shir Khan’s last compilations received fantastic media coverage, with
album of the month in DJ-Mag and Mixmag.
