Shipyards was a five-piece rock band from Brooklyn, NY, comprised of members who have been writing music together for almost a decade.
Their first EP, "A Dream is a Town," was recorded over the summer of 2008 with good friend Greg Giorgio, whose previous projects include Interpol, Mates of State, Titles, and The National.
The second EP, as of yet untitled, was recorded amidst the band breaking up, but plans to finish the remaining work and release it have been revived.
