'A Life in Splott' - I got to know Jeff because we have Splott in common; he grew up there, and I live there.  Jeff mentioned that his mother, Beatrice, had lived all her life in the same house in Splott, and was in the process of writing her life story.  This excerpt takes us from Beatrice's birth, through her childhood, marriage, and up until the outbreak of the Second World War.
