About
Biography - Sherano
Sherano , born Sherano Gerritsen (26th of May 1990, The Hague, Netherlands).
In 2001, a friend of Sherano showed him a tracker (a module-based sequencer) called "Madtracker". After using it for a while, the urge to create music already grew stronger. Creating melodies was his favorite thing to do, and the keyboard/piano like controls of Madtracker were perfect for that. Untill this day forward creating melodies is still one of his favorite things.
At the age of 14 (2004), he became more serious when it came to music and started using the sequencer "FL Studio" (Fruity Loops). As he practiced, he grew and learned more and more about the use of VST's in FL Studio. In 2005, Sherano was still listening to hardcore tracks and slowly eased into it, after a while he created his first hardcore track. This led him to a series of bookings and productions in the hardcore scene. His style slowly reverted from mainstream to a more industrial style, but even then things did not feel right just yet.
The more he matured, the more emotion you could hear in his tracks. After about a year, he could hear that hardcore was not the right choice for him. He noticed that he enjoyed listening to Trance, and decided to give it a shot. That moment turned out to be one of the best decisions in his life and from that moment on, his focus started facing towards trance.
After a year had past (2009), he had developed his own style and started working together with an old friend from the hardcore scene (Mc M-Shane) also known as Sascha Dolliver. They have worked together producing tracks for about a year and in 2010 they were contracted by ExpandDigital.
Their first official released track "Facelift" on September 17th 2010 was a great success. Not to mention the support by Markus Schulz, Mark Young, Anne Savage and many more famous artists from the scene. After the first track was received with great response and big amount of support, they really got the hang of it and released three more tracks together.
* Raindrops Falling (Nov. 2010)
* Zero 58 (Jan. 2011)
* Global Experiences (Feb. 2011)
Like Facelift these tracks were supported by many dj's and producers like Organ Donors, Robert Gitelman, Gordon Coutts and Dj Christopher Lawrence, America's number one dj. After their final track Global Experiences, Sherano and Sascha decided to part ways.
Sherano switched to a different sequencer called "Ableton" and has released his first track that was created with Ableton, called "4Times" on the 17th of June 2011.
This year 2012 will see the release of his next project called "Fame" licensed and released on the Label Gray Goo Records (ITA) where Sherano signed up with this year.In the near future we will see him perform on some events in The Netherlands and we are expecting a big and bright futur on the horizon.
Keep your eyes and ears open for he's here to stay!
