Last years mix had well over 200,000 downloads. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the counter. I rarely make CD’s or mixes available, as I like all of my appearances to be special, and for the mixes that I do make available to have meaning behind them. I have been a supporter and a volunteer for Capital Pride for over a decade, and I have had the honor and pleasure of being the main stage DJ and stage manager for the past five years. This years mix is definitely another “happy-la-la” mix that I hope will get you into the spirit of Pride. I made this mix live at the Disco Garage, Lake Forest Studios, Chicago on Thursday May 6, 2010. It was a beautiful day in Chicago, and felt like I found the right songs to create this years mix.

I look forward to another great Pride in DC, and hope that you support all of the wonderful events.

This year I will be featured on the P Street Stage on Saturday June 12, from 3pm until Parade time. Come and dance on the street and get your Pride on !! Saturday night, I will be spinning the music upstairs at Ziegfelds/Secrets from 9pm-3am for one of the biggest parties in Washington DC.
I also will again be manning the main stage on Sunday June 13, from 11am-6pm, with headline entertainment by R&B Superstar Mya, dance divas Inaya Day, Vanessa Conde, Mama B and Barbara Sheree.

After the festival, please join me for Wild Cherry Tea. This years “after festival” tea dance will be held at the FABULOUS Rooftop and Pool at the Donovan House Hotel. Come, and experience this wonderful event to benefit Cherry and Capital Pride after the festival from 6pm-11pm, I’ll be spinning with my good friend DJ Jason Horswill.
