I had the privilege of working with Howie Rose many years ago back before WFAN became WFAN -- when it was still WHN, the country music station, and Howie was early in his career, doing sports there. He was always gracious and obviously gifted. I’m so glad he has not only become the radio voice of the Mets, but has also been able to call a no-hitter for the team he has loved for so long.

Howie Rose is one of the best in the business..he makes John Sterling look like a bad singer in a Vegas lounge.

So incredible! The fact that he says put it in the books so late, you know how happy he must have been!

do you have any more audio or video clips of the mets or other sports teams? THIS is the greatest moment since 1986 in mets history, this is right up there with the 2 world championships we won
