Born in Dublin, the musical mind of Shane Robinson began to blossom at an early age. His initial interests in music expanded even further when he first heard electronic music. Having an interest in creating music from that point on Shane soon found himself using his first DAW in 2003 and soon began experimenting with his first pieces of hardware, slowly learning their functions and dabbling in different sounds and style.
Finding influence from names such as Way Out West, Pete Heller, Sasha & Digweed, Todd Terry, Orbital and The Sound Crowd, Shane soon found himself creating a specific sound that he really enjoyed and shortly after started releasing his music. Shane’s first reputable exposure was the support of his Waterfront EP which was supported by Matt Darey in his Nocturnal Radio show and charted by Miss Nine in her top ten tracks of that month as well.
Since this time Shane has been a regular presence in the smooth progressive scene having releases on reputable labels such as A Must Have Records, Silk Textures, Grooveboy Music, Electric Life Records, Composure Records (UK). Also at this time Shane is currently collaborating with fellow artist Biologik and is looking at having releases soon to come on Silk Textures, Sleepless Night Recordings and Elliptical Sun Melodies.
On top of all of this Shane also has his deep house delivering alias Timeless Motion which has already gotten some great support and will surely be making even more notable releases this year as well. If there is one thing to say about Shane it’s that he has an extreme knack for bringing true diversity to his productions and always strives to create something new and fresh to steer away from the usual recycled sounds that many artists deliver to this day.
