@shane54: Oh thats interesting that I didn't pick that out. I'm usually very good at knowing famous voices. I was going to ask for some guest vocals. I guess it will cost too much now! :)

@thingstocome: it is Dave Gahan himself... :o)
Those vocals were recorded during a concert (lots of songs from the same performance, right from the monitor desk I assume), you can sometimes hear the ambience his mic recorded while he wasn't singing. Probably this what gives the vocals that stadium feel.
