I'm making music for more than 15 years (that's when my first album was released in Hungary), during the 90s I made pop music - as singer / producer of a boy band called FLM, then I became a solo artist when we split up. Either as an artist, producer or writer there's 13 albums behind me so far.
In 2000 I started working as Shane 54, focusing on electronic dance music. Since then I remixed artists as Madonna (Music), Lenny Kravitz (Believe In Me), Spandau Ballet (Gold), Paul Oakenfold & Perry Farrell (Time Of Your Life), Above & Beyond (Far From In Love) and many, many more.
In 2008 I teamed up with fellow Hungarian dj/producer Mario Egeto as Myon & Shane 54. We already made remixes and/or tracks for labels like Anjunabeats, Black Hole, EMI Scandinavia, or Nebula. Our stuff gets regular plays by the best djs of our genre from Armin Van Buuren to Tiesto.
@DJAnders: Thanks a lot, currently we're remixing it for a release, should be ready within days. Then I will post it the result here as well. :)
@thingstocome: Oliver, whenever you need some guest vocals, just have a listen to our cover of "Alive & Kicking" where you can hear my voice, so if you like the sound of it, just give me a shout. I'd be glad to contribute.
@thingstocome: it is Dave Gahan himself... :o)
Those vocals were recorded during a concert (lots of songs from the same performance, right from the monitor desk I assume), you can sometimes hear the ambience his mic recorded while he wasn't singing. Probably this what gives the vocals that stadium feel.
Nah... It was done in Ableton Live completely, with softsynths only. However I've used a few of the provided tracks/sounds, and almost every synth sound is layered with another one.
