Shalal is my solo project, a result of a life long passion for music, computers and software.
I started out as a child playing drums and percussion in school and in a band with friends.
Coming from a musical family, i soon discovered that rythms and composition came naturally for me, so my uncle descided to bye me,
my first drum kit ! my mom was SOOO happy :)
As a teenager, i came across computerized music. And when i met Kristian Gjesing (Mantra Flow), we started out from scratch learning Cubase..
Soon after we formed our live act Sidewayz, And after an improvised tour in Sweden, Denmark, England, Germany and The Netherlands,
we came across the artist village Ruigoord in Amsterdam.
We decided to move to the Netherlands to work intensely on producing and introducing analog recorded instruments into our digital productions.
The Sidewayz project brought us to play DJ' sets and live acts on several big festivals and partys around Europe,
to name a few: Solstice, Earth Dance, Middelearth, Optimystika, SEMF (Scandinavian Electronic Music Festival) and many more.
This spawned me a newfound inspiration in combining analog instruments and digital producing.
It also gave me the possibility to work with other musicians in their own productions.
After returning to Denmark, i have attended Engelsholm Folk High School, studying electronic music.
Here i have been introduced to a professional array of tools, production sequencers, and live performance software.
I met up with several professional musicians, and was exposed to a lot of alternative methods of production: composition, songwriting and different approaches of presenting musical work to an audience. (making demos, music for video, electronic compositions)
I started up the Shalal project to use the new technical skills to develop personal productions.

Im currently working as an assistant at Songcrafter Music, and soon to become a traniee at AabyRoad Studios. There my object is to learn new hardware interfaces for mixing and mastering purposes, analog sound recording and production on professional band music..
