Arriving on the House Music scene in 1995, Shahrokh was quickly recognized as having the potential to become an International cult figure. An amalgamation of hard work and undoubted talent is demonstrated on his debut EP release „Deff Punch/Roya“ on Black Flame records which was released in 1997 and received media acclaim. Shahrokh’s second EP „Phunk Communication“ on Caus-N’-ff-ct records dispelled rumors he would be unable to maintain the standard he set with his initial release and the exclusive London club and record label Miss Moneypenney’s licensed the standout song.
What sets Sharokh apart is his ability to differentiate himself from the masses with an eclectic blend of influences from his Iranian childhood and his German upbringing; a concotion unlike any other DJ can offer. It is this distinctive approach that caught the attention of artists like Jazzanova, Metro Area,Charles Webster, Carl Craig or Peter Kruder. These affiliations have resulted in some groundbreaking collaborations that has really enabled Shahrokh to achieve the notoriouty he desreved.
Songs like „Yo Yomma“ (Caus-N’-ff-ct) appeared on the soundtrack of Wolfgang Peterson’s Blockbuster „Stargate“. Shahrokh has also remixed songs for Caus-N’-ff-ct which have included Donna Summer´s „Hot Stuff“ and „Bad Girls“ and a remix for Gloria Gaynor „Last Night“ for the project „DJ Empire - A Tribute To Giorgio Moroder“ (Caus-N’-ff-ct/BMG Ariola).
Not content with producing and mixing, Shahrokh also has a history of running some of Europe’s most renowned nightclubs. Mood Lounge now claims Amé (Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedermann) as its Resident DJ’s and has enjoyed unrivalled success under Shahrokh’s guidance. It has also attracted some of the industries prominent personalities including, Peter Weibel, Luigi Colani, Jose Wagna Garcia.
Shahrokh’s revolutionary track „Owlflight“ has received rave reviews from influential DJ’s like Rainer Trüby, Peter Kruder, Atjazz, Sasse and Àme – nonetheless he continued to push boundaries and recent releases such as "Black Bird" has galvanized a resurrection of the minimal style last heard in the 1990’s. His third EP which was produced in conjunction with Andreas Koehler featured the indisputable talent of uprising Australian singer Jamie Lloyd and is based on hypnotic bass lines. His debut album “Dripping Point”, which will be released on Compost in October 2008, develops from minimal to maximal and includes more vocal features from Jamie Lloyd, the gifted Swedish songstress Siri Svegler plus an extraordinary Robert Owens on top of the game.
Shahrokh has realized his potential and is now looking to bring his distinctive and innovative style to your Club.Discographie Shahrokh Sound Of K:

DRIPPING POINT Shahrokh Sound Of K
Einfach wunderbar.

Shakrokh Sound of K
Dripping Point (Compost)

Shahrokh Sound of K.
01. Break It Down feat. Jamie Lloyd 02. Letting You Go feat. Siri Svegler 03. SHAHROKH SOUND OF K - DRIPPING POINT
Sep 23, 2008 Published by baggy
DJ, producer and music club owner - Shahrokh Dini teams up with Andreas Kohler (aka Andy Fabulous) as ‘Shahrokh Sound of K’, the deep house project formed back in 2006 that can be found on the influential Compost ‘Black Label’.
Where Shahrokh started DJ’ing back in 1995, Andreas was a student of classical music, working as a professional pianist and cello player in the SWR Symphony Orchestra whilst aquiring a taste for electronica.
After a successful debut single with the 2006 release ‘Owl Flight’ the guys followed up with an overwhelming contribution to the 2007 compilation ‘Compost Black Label Series Vol.2′ (Taking their track ‘Chicago’) and now prepare to release their debut long player entitled ‘Dripping Point’. Taking influence from the 80’s Chicago house sound ‘Shahrokh Sound of K’ are bucking the current trend for ‘Minimal’ instead preferring to highlight the melodic side of house as demonstrated with last year’s ‘Chicago’ funk workout. It’s easy to see why the ‘Shahrokh’ sound is comparitable that that of Sonar Kollectiv’s Ame. Andreas Schorpp is probably the reason why. Responsible for mixing and engineering not only every Ame track since 2003 Andreas has now turned his attention to the ‘Sound of K’. Featuring the vocal talents of Australian singer Jamie Lloyd and Swedish songstress Siri Svegler ‘Dripping Point’ achieves a coup by aquiring the services of the unmistakable (And on form) Robert Owens. After a few raised eyebrows and heavy rotation we were impressed with what we were hearing. Rather than rant paragraphs of drivel we thought the best way for you to get an idea of what you can expect from ‘Dripping Point’ was to put together a sampler mix featuring a few tracks taken from the album. Shahrokh Sound Of K’s ‘Dripping Point’ is scheduled for release on 7th November 2008 on Compost Records. We suggest you grab yourself a copy and while your waiting check out the guys previous releases. Here’s the full track list, click the links below for the ‘Shahrokh Sound of K - Dripping Point’ sampler mix:

Gerald Scheiber (Scheibosan) Shahrokh Sound of K...now with vocals. Nice!
Diggin' the synth-funk on After All; how can they miss with Robert Owens on the mic? Old Score tends to put one in a spaced-out trance. See The Light is a nice slice of laidback loungy grooviness. Gets my seal of approval, indeed!
Velanche Old Score Is the best one.
Mario Rogowski (Electronic Sessions) Sounds very nice again! The first track is my fav, how could i resist the voice of Robert Owens :)

Salah Sadeq Production on After All is top notch, Old Score is absolutely great and i'll surely drop it at my next 4X4 club gig. Amir Egozy It's a great release! We really like the tune with Robert Owens and will support it.
Mathieu Alline (PACK UP & DANCE) "After All " mit Robert Owens ist ein TopTune! Voller Support für diesen Track garantiert!! 10/10!
"Old Score" schoenes Tool für ein Warm-up Programm. 7/10
"See The Light" ebenfalls ein SUPERTRACK mit hervorragender Vocalistin. Maximum Respekt !! 10/10
Lorenzo Aldino (7th District) Ok, interesting tunes. i like the first one, but the others are also ok... another good CBL release!
Mark Burow This engaged album shows for the first time the variety of work of one of Germany's relevant newcomers of the last couple of years. Shahrokh turns minimal towards disco and oldschool house in a respectful way. I reckon he'll be caught in crossfire from many sides for it, but - ultimately – when it boils down to the dancefloor, his music grooves to the max. 9/10
Phil Brokelmann (Curl Curl)
Wirklich ein sehr schönes Ding die neue Shahrokh Sound Of K.! Ich würde es gern spielen.
Michael Peter Wicked selections. The beats are intense.
Mike Stukes (Mystic Vybes WHCR 90.3 FM)Good solid house music! "See The Light" reminds me of the very good electronic music in 2002. Love it.

Oleg Uris (Happy Hour & Sound Tribute) Interessanter style, Old Score gefällt mir sehr gut.

Nadav Ravid (Botanika) Love it love it!
Huw Ellis (Knowfoowl Music) See The Light is my favourite, nice track.
Bruno Owlflight is already legendary so it could be really heavy to make an equally strong album! Listening to the EP they succeeded to make a nice diverse album but kept those nice weird analogue synth sounds we like in Shahrokh Sound Of K. My favourite is See the light.
Tibor Mozsik (DJ Keyser / Crate Soul Brothers / Budapest) Well built electronic tracks. Will support in my show! The Robert Owens track is cool!
DJ Mennert Beautiful EP, all three tracks, especially "See The Light" grooves me up!
Sensational Vocals... Fantastic Work, I love it.
Chris Haslauer (Republic/ Salzburg) I really like this release, Very deep and techy, it's a winner and will be played by a lot of big name dj's, I look forward to hear more from these guys.
Ian Bright Old Score and After All are both gorgeous!! One of the best ep's on Compost this year!
Nacho Velasco (Cafe Garito/ Mallorca) Great three-tracker! I like 'After All' alongside 'Old Score', but the def. winner is 'See The Light'. A decent, deep but kick ass piano-groover. really looking forward to play this one out!
Johannes Paluka This has the potential to be huuuuge. Continues the great tradition of Compost Black....
Harry Avers (XLR8R) Ich finde den "After All" track sehr gelungen. Schöner Deep-House mit der unverkennlichen Stimme von R.Owens. Werde ich sicher spielen.
DJ Gianni N Thanks for this one, I really like it. Quality beats. Looking forward to hear the rest of the album.
Nico Deceglia The beautiful deepness with vibraphone, violin, piano and amazing vocals of Siri @ See The Light take me away.

Blair Stafford (Straightup Radio/ Australia) Really like the tune with Siri.
Robert Luis (Tru Thoughts Records) Mein Favorit ist "Old Score" - sehr schön!!
Sven Thomschke (Dr.Best) Robert Owens always has a knack of turning a good track into a melodic beauty.
Mood yet uplifting - sweet vibe.
Old Score has some lovely strings a nice urgent columbian feel about it. Makes
me want to travel deep into their jungles????????? Siri has a cute jazzy voice - nice electronic inklings and pitch bent 80s keys. Not a bad tune.
Robert Monk (DJ Somatik) I love this, this is serious music! Robert Owens has a KILLAH voice!
Lookin fwd to dropping this on a super big soundsystem.
See the Light has a real mix of jazz style vocals and old school house.. sounds magical...
