Hey everyone my name is Travis Stewart. I’ve been composing for as long as I’ve been playing guitar – since I was about 13. When I was first learning how to play guitar, I didn’t find joy in playing the songs that other people had written and played a million times over, I found joy in creating new pieces that were unique to me. I believe that when composing, every little aspect of your life comes out into the music. Not just other songs you were inspired by, but by every little walk in the park, every interaction with friends and family, every emotion you’ve experienced. I think all of this is what inspires music and makes it unique to the composer. I love being about to create a thing of beautify that sources from my life experiences.
This whole experience of composing has been like stumbling around in the dark for me. I’ve had to learn it all from the ground up (as I’m sure many people have). I started composing with a little Zoom track recorder and then when I got my E-MU 1212M Digital Audio System Sound card my whole world changed. This allowed me to start composing with almost no latency, and to starting using the power of a DAW(Sonar 8.5 Producer is my go-to DAW). I began using Kontakt 4 for all my string needs, and now my list of VST’s is growing as I explore new genres of music.

Thanks for stopping by and listening to my works. I hope there is something on here you can enjoy. Keep checking back every so often as I almost always have something in the works.
