Shadowcaster is a live performance outfit formed by the artist known as Aleph.Null. The project mixes mythology, occultism, speculative history and different genres of art into unique, one of a kind performances. Shadowcaster collectively showcases various artistic mediums, artists, ideologies and mythology on a single stage alongside experimental industrial music to tell a story larger and more immersive then just music could ever provide. Shows are interactive, and have previously included piercing/suspension, live piano (with sledge hammers), strobing lights intended to induce hypnogogic states, audio signals known to alter brainwaves, bass impulses intended to cause orgasm, an illegal death curse on the Monsanto Corporation (see veggie liable law), invocations of various thought-forms/deities, human blood, animal meat, broken glass, fire, fog, partial nudity and ritual magic. Each album is written to be performed along side only one ritual and only ever performed one time.
