I started out with a passion for electronic and dance music back in the early days of Electro and break dance, when I spent most of my misspent youth break dancing on street corners in the UK. As time went by Electro and Breakdance died out, and in came the legendary Acid house scene. At this point in time I was roadying for a friend who was a commercial DJ. After upgrading his setup, I bought his old all in one x2 turntable and mixer, this was the starting point for my Djing career. I played on the house scene for years doing all manner of clubs and underground house nights in the North UK. I always had an urge and passion to create my own tracks, this grew and pushed me into building my first digital workstation, and from that point I started on the journey of creating music. Sequential 3's musically style isn't any set genre as we just write the music that they like to listen to, mainly keeping to the deep and funky house, minimal future tech styles. Russ Irvine a.k.a "Sequential 3" has been producing music now for the last ten years or so. The last few years has seen collaborative work with Robin Jones A.K.A "Pin Massif" between Rob and myself theres a variation in musical styles, this cross section of styles has a big influence in Sequential 3's work.
