Born in 1970, Jean-François Duguay aka Sequential Factory is doing music for quite sometime now. Jean-François became interested in electronic music at the age of 16 listening to bands such as Kraftwerk, New Order Nitzer Ebb, Depeche Mode. Being a graphic designer, he was working with a graphic structure and this very rational configuration also applied to his musical style. He is the co-founder of the well known monthly nights called WICKED where some of the most famous Montreal dj'sperformed. He also organised numerous major happenings with dj's such Mistress Barbara, Jaesun Celebre, Nuclear Ramjet etc… In 2000, he started producing music in a more professional way. The style of his music went from minimal techno to a more progressive sound. He also likes creating hypnotic and redondant structures blended with a deep spaced melodic background.
