Sepalot is an highly inspired artist with a truly inspired live show.
Just as with his albums, his ambitious live set continues to build bridges between the genres. DJing is an artform to this man and he regards himself a curator of the club that hosts him for the nite. From Philadelphia to Berlin, from Vienna to Moscow and on to Syndey he dives deep into a sea of beats only accompanied by his two 1210's, an MPC and his drummer Fab. His productions featuring an array of national and international artists such as Fashawn, Blu, Saigon, Miss Platnum, Ladi6, Frank n Dank and Buff1 and his excursion into the realms of bavarian folk music have earned him appraisal and platinum awards all over. His first single from "Chasing Clouds" the hypnotic "Rainbows" was not only an internet blog phenomenon, but also an airplay chart hit. German national newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung, -renowned for their knack in searching out talent - have devoted a full page in their culture supplement to his latest album and the preceding Beat Konducta Mixtape dedicated to Bavarian folk music. "Chasing Clouds" has even been hailed to be the best german hip hop album in 2012.
Besides his own radio show on Munich based trendsetting radio station Ego FM, his remix assignments and third party productions Sepalot is currently working on a successor for "Chasing Clouds" expected to be released in September 2013

SEPALOT ist ein inspirierter Künstler mit einer inspirierenden Liveshow.
Mit seinen anspruchsvollen Sets schlägt er gekonnt Brücken zwischen den Genres. SEPALOT ist jemand, der das DJing als Kunstform versteht und den DJ als Kurator für den Club. Von Philadelphia, Berlin, Wien, Moskau und weiter nach Sydney ist SEPALOT mit zwei 1210ern, einer MPC und seinem Live Drummer Fab unterwegs und taucht tief ab in ein Meer aus Beats.
Für seine Produktionen mit nationalen & internationalen Künstlern (u.a. Fashawn, Blu, Miss Platnum, Saigon, Ladi6, Frank N Dank, Buff1, ...) und seine Studie in Sachen bayrischer Volksmusik (Beat Konducta Bavaria) gab es gleichzeitig Platin Auszeichnungen und weltweite Beachtung. Seine Single "Rainbows" war gleichzeitig ein "Internetblog Hit" aber eben auch ganz weit oben in den Airplay Charts. Das Feuilleton der Suddeutschen Zeitung widmete ihm deshalb kürzlich die Titelseite und schrieb über "Beat Konducta Bavaria" und sein letztes Album "Chasing Clouds": "... eine der unglaublichsten deutschen Pop-Produktionen des Jahres ... das beste deutsche Hip-Hop-Album 2011"
Neben seiner eigenen Radioshow auf egoFM, diversen Projekten, Remixe und Fremdproduktionen, arbeitet er an einem neuen SEPALOT Album welches im September 2013 erscheint.
