    @Vaswani, yoga permana: Thanks for listening! Actually, no effects on this one, just VST plugins and some audio editing. The main sections of the tune were recorded using Sonar X1 with the Tassman (synth bass) plugin and Dimension Pro. The Sonar X1 stereo master was ported into Ableton Live where I added the intro, which mostly uses the Native Instruments Razor synth. The most unusual thing about this tune is the intro section and solo section (near end) where the chords are bent down a whole tone using the pitch mod wheel, to give that spacy effect. The main melody french horn-like sound is a NI sampled real french horn combined with a Dim Pro french horn-like synth sound. This is my take on what the Star Trek theme song should have sounded like.
