Sekkt is made up of siblings - Pavel (production, trumpet), Lenka (vocals, saxophone) and Matija (vocals, trombone) who have been playing music together since they were children. They learnt guitar, vocals, saxophone, trumpet and accordion, and everything from classical music and jazz, to Balkan folk music.

Just a few years old, Sekkt has already had considerable success. In late 2012, Sekkt returned to Australia after finishing a 15-show tour of Germany, France, Spain and Portugal. In August 2012 while in Europe, Sekkt was a featured artist on DW Radio, Germany's international broadcaster.

In recording and performance, Sekkt combines live instruments with electronic beats; Eastern European melodies, with funk and electronica, both original compositions and remixes.

Sekkt has also notched up performances at 3 Australian music festivals - Rainbow Serpent, Shine On and Maitreya. With performances at the Melbourne Fashion Festival and regular performances at Melbourne venues, bars and clubs, Sekkt presents a new approach to production and performance.
