Dave Dri is the founder of live progressive tech act Segue and guest performer in live drum'n'bass act Silent Shadow. Dri has previously been the manager of Statler & Waldorf, member of live acts including guest keyboards with D-KO and touring and writing with Superfluid, which saw medium rotation on JJJ radio for the first single "Knucklebusters" on Superfluid's debut album on Creative Vibes records. With a fixation for Eastern European sounds leading to sampling Balkan folk songs on Superfluid's "Lodoss", featured both on the album "Project Vectrex" and the firth edition of Creative Vibes' iconic "Evolutionary Vibes" compilation, Dave headed off to tour Eastern Europe in 2004, becoming in the process the first Australia to talk his way into a live set at Serbia's acclaimed Exit Fest.

Returning with a renewed passion for live performance, Dave founded Segue with Statler & Waldorf's co-producer Leo Hede, and quickly invited themselves back onstage around Brisbane, Australia. Breaking keyboards and mashing samplers in the process, the act established itself with an exciting live performance style with a "more is more" rebellion to the increasingly minimalist laptop live act performers. Signing their first releases to Smash Bang Records, Segue flew to Melbourne with collaborator and visualist VJ Jaymis, to perform what was the first of many fully synchronised audio/visual live shows. Gaining recognition for the live performances of a bootleg remix of Chemical Brothers "Electroinc Battle Weapon 9", featured heavily on taste-making music sites including Palms Out Sounds, Segue was booked to rock the iconic Boiler Room stage of Australia's largest touring festival, the Big Day Out in 2008. Where Statler & Waldorf, with Dri on their mix, had played the same stage as Chemical Brothers only years before, now Segue returned to take another twist to fill the stage, with the addition of veteran percussionist and producer Kris-Ko on drums.

In 2009, Segue are focusing on a new live set for a return to Europe mid-year, and firing through a raft of remixes for Smash Bang Records and Dektek Records. For more information and updates check the following links:
